After close to two decades writing, recording, playing and touring with the popular Denver-Colorado band the Trampolines the roots-rock, country-soul, singer songwriter moves forward with a new chapter of songs, attitude and intention. “When a window of opportunity opened up, I had to jump in with both feet and explore it further” Stake noted. Armed with stories of his life, love, family and own internal struggles facing darker issues from his past and a plot of a blue print forward. His first single ‘Down the Line’ is an anthem for all as he rediscovers and solidifies his sound and voice with brutal honesty and a desperate desire for new roads ahead.
Chris has had the fortunate opportunity to open and tour with several artists through the years such as: Edwin McCain, James Taylor, Amos Lee, Marc Broussard, Citizen Cope, The Samples Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Freddy Jones Band, The BoDeans, John Waite, The Fray and more.
